Before Surgery: Preparing for Recovery
Having the right essentials ready before surgery can help you feel more prepared and comfortable during recovery. Some women like to purchase a soft, non-wired, light compression garment specifically designed for wear post-surgery and recovery. We recommend this garment be worn for at least 4-6 weeks, but your doctor will provide you with more guidance.
We keep options in stock, and they may be covered by your private insurance.
After your surgical incisions are fully healed, you are ready to be fitted for breast prosthetics.
When you’re ready, we can provide you with a personalized fitting and expert guidance that will help you find an option that feels comfortable and works for your lifestyle.
Our fitters are certified to fit breast prostheses, and we provide professional fittings in a private, supportive setting. We’ll take the time to understand your needs, answer your questions, and help you explore suitable options for comfort, balance, and confidence.

Cost Information and Benefit Coverage
Every resident of Alberta is qualified to receive at least partial, sometimes full coverage of breast forms. All you need is an Alberta health card to qualify. We take care of direct billing to Blue Cross for these benefits. We can provide you with more information in store regarding your personal coverage amount for breast prosthetics. Please bring your Alberta Health card to your fitting appointment.
